Plexa Chat: our own chat, calls and screen sharing
Plexa Chat replaces the Discord channels in the launcher with our own messages, community spaces, voice channels, calls, video and screen sharing, joined up with the game.
By MelonDisrupt

On 28 October the Plexa launcher got a chat of its own. Plexa Chat replaces the Discord channels the launcher used to show, and it is ours from top to bottom: messages, communities, calls and screen sharing, signed in with your Plexa ID.
Messages and communities
- Direct messages and group chats, with replies, reactions, mentions, pictures and files.
- A community space for every game, with text channels, voice channels, roles and moderators, and one for the whole network.
- One friends list. Your Plexa Chat friends and your in-game friends are the same list, kept in step both ways.
Calls and screen sharing
Call a friend or a whole group, with video if you like, drop into a voice channel, or share a window or your whole screen. Calls run through Cloudflare's real-time network, never through our game servers, and they are never recorded.
It reaches you in game
Plexa Chat is wired into PlexaRP, PlexaRP Balkan and PlexaRP Voice. Type /pm @username in game to send an out-of-character message to a friend on any server or in the launcher, and /r to reply. Roleplay chat stays in the city: local chat, /me, /do and radios never leave the game.
Make it yours
Profiles have an about me and pronouns, and you can buy name colours, frames, banners, badges and effects with Plexa Points from the world you choose.
Plexa Chat is for people aged 18 and over. Anything can be reported, and network-wide restrictions can be appealed on Plexa ID.
