PlexaRP 2.165.0: cruise control, a new helicopter camera and faster car orders

Highlights from the PlexaRP update of 15 October 2026: cruise control, the reworked helicopter camera, the RON shop, faster insurance claims and car orders, and fixes.

PlexaRP update 2.165.0 shipped on 15 October 2026. These are the highlights. The full notes are in the PlexaRP changelog on the wiki.

Cruise control

Press Y or type /cruise while driving a car or motorbike at 20 mph or more to hold the posted speed limit minus 2 mph. It follows the limit as the road changes and switches off when you brake, pull the handbrake or drop under 12 mph. You can change the key in the keybinds panel.

Air units

The helicopter camera has been reworked, with an agency header, locking on to people as well as vehicles, a tannoy menu and a searchlight beam everyone can see. Crews get /helilight, /helisiren and /tannoy, keybinds for the siren, the tannoy menu and the beam width, recorded loudspeaker lines and an emergency audio volume slider.

Around Paleto Bay

  • The RON shop. The RON station in Paleto Bay has its own shop at the counter inside the building, marked with a white circle. Fuel stations made in game now always get a shop of their own too.
  • Driving test courses. Staff can place the car and truck test checkpoints in the World Editor, so a course can be set up in Paleto Bay.
  • Weigh stations. Stop your truck on a weigh station and press E to get it weighed. The Route 68 weigh station moved from the airfield to a pull-off beside Route 68.

Balance

  • Insurance claims take a twelfth of the time they used to: between 1 and 6 hours, depending on the insurer.
  • Ordered cars are ready in 10 to 30 minutes instead of up to 3 hours: bikes in 10, cars in 15, SUVs in 20, vans and luxury cars in 25 and trucks in 30. Orders from the launcher use the same times.
  • Car parts. Sport and race parts now wear at the same rate as stock parts, and an upgraded part gives its full power until it drops below 30 percent condition.

Fixes

  • Display cars stay on their bays when you arrive from far away, instead of falling through the ground.
  • 2,202 GTA interior props are back in the /mapinterior list after being hidden by mistake.
  • Hardware stores sell the landing net and the gaff. You need a net for fish of 6 kg or more and a gaff from 40 kg.
  • /orders now counts parts crates kept in the garage storage.
  • The forensics panel no longer opens on F5. Open it with /forensics or set your own key.
  • The starter guide card sits under the chat box instead of covering it.
