1. About these terms

Plain English

Who provides Plexa ID, and how these terms fit with our others.

Plexa ID is provided by Phytoventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16388003), with its registered office at Belmont Suite, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG (“we”, “us”, “our”). Plexa is our network of games and apps.

These Plexa ID Terms cover your Plexa ID at id.plexa.gg, signing in with it, and Plexa+. They add to our Terms of Service, which cover everything else on Plexa and also apply to your Plexa ID. If the two ever disagree about your Plexa ID or Plexa+, these Plexa ID Terms win. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data, and the rules of each game apply when you play it.

You accept these terms when you create a Plexa ID or, if we moved an existing game account into a Plexa ID for you, when you first sign in with it. If you do not agree, do not use Plexa ID. You can save or print these terms from this page at any time.

2. What Plexa ID is

Plain English

One free account for every Plexa game and app.

Plexa ID is the one account you use to sign in across Plexa: our PlexaRP worlds, Zombiez, Plexa Minecraft, the Plexa launcher, Plexa Chat, Plexa Live, our forums, the UCPs and other apps and sites that offer sign-in with Plexa ID. Plexa ID is free.

Plexa ID holds your account: your email address, username and display name, how you sign in, the games and accounts you have linked, the devices you are signed in on and a record of sign-in activity. It does not hold your game progress. Your characters, money, property and items stay in each world under that game’s rules, and Plexa Points are kept in a separate wallet in each world.

What you need. A modern web browser for id.plexa.gg. The Plexa launcher, and Plexa Chat and Plexa Live inside it, need Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Each game says if it needs anything else.

3. Who can have a Plexa ID

Plain English

You must be 18 or over, and the Plexa ID must be yours.

You may have a Plexa ID only if you are at least 18 years old, can enter into a binding contract, and have not been barred from Plexa by an earlier decision of ours. Age checks work as section 3 of our Terms of Service explains: if we have reason to think a Plexa ID belongs to someone under 18, we will ask the holder to complete an age check, and we will close the Plexa ID if it does belong to someone under 18.

A Plexa ID is for one person and may only be used by that person. You should only ever need one. Do not create a Plexa ID to get around a ban, a restriction or a limit, or to pretend to be someone else.

4. Creating your Plexa ID

Plain English

Use an email address that is yours, and a username that follows the rules.

  • Email. Give an email address that is yours and that you can receive mail at. We send it a code to confirm it. Keep it up to date: it is how we reach you, and how you get back in if you are locked out.
  • Username. Your username is public. It must be 3 to 32 characters (letters, numbers, dots and underscores). It must not be offensive or misleading, must not be someone else’s name or brand, and must not suggest you are Plexa staff when you are not. You can change it from your profile. We may refuse a username, or change or reclaim one, where it breaks these rules or where we reasonably need to for security, legal or moderation reasons, and we will tell you if we do.
  • Checks. To stop automated sign-ups we use Cloudflare Turnstile, and we may refuse addresses from throwaway email services.

We may refuse to create a Plexa ID where we reasonably need to, for example to stop fraud, abuse or ban evasion.

5. Keeping your Plexa ID secure

Plain English

Protect how you sign in. You are responsible for your Plexa ID unless something went wrong because we did not take reasonable care.

You must:

  • use a password you do not use anywhere else (we refuse passwords that appear in known data breaches);
  • keep your password, authenticator codes, recovery codes and passkeys to yourself;
  • never share, sell, lend or give away your Plexa ID or the details you sign in with; and
  • lock your Plexa ID straight away, using the link in any of our security emails, or tell us, if you think someone else has used it.

We strongly recommend turning on an authenticator app or adding a passkey. Our staff will never ask for your password or your codes.

What we do. We protect sign-in with reasonable security measures. These include checking new devices and locations, emailing you about sign-ins from new devices, changes to your password or email and the use of recovery codes, slowing down and pausing sign-in after repeated failed attempts, and signing devices out after a while.

You are responsible for what happens on your Plexa ID, unless it happened because we did not take reasonable care, or after you told us your Plexa ID had been compromised.

Getting back in. If you lose access, use the reset and recovery options on id.plexa.gg. If those are not enough, contact support. We may ask you to prove that the Plexa ID is yours before we help, and we may refuse to hand over a Plexa ID if we cannot be reasonably sure it is yours.

6. Linking games and accounts

Plain English

Your games and other accounts connect to your Plexa ID. Their own terms still apply to them.

When Plexa ID started, we linked each existing game account to the Plexa ID with the matching email address or Discord account, and emailed the account holder. You can see your linked worlds and connections on id.plexa.gg.

Minecraft. To play Plexa Minecraft, you link your Minecraft account using a code from the Plexa hub. A Minecraft account can be linked to only one Plexa ID, and a Plexa ID to only one Minecraft account.

Linking does not change who owns the other account. Your Minecraft account stays under Microsoft’s terms, your Discord account under Discord’s and your FiveM account under Cfx.re’s, and we are not responsible for those services.

Only our staff can move a linked game account to a different Plexa ID, and only after checks. We may refuse if we cannot be reasonably sure who the account belongs to, or if the move would get around a ban or a limit.

7. Signing in to other apps and sites

Plain English

When you sign in somewhere with Plexa ID, you can see what it gets and take access back.

Some apps and sites let you sign in with your Plexa ID. Most are ours. We may also let other developers offer it. Before an app made by someone else gets anything from your Plexa ID, we show you what it is asking for, and it gets only what you allow.

You can see every app you have signed in to, and remove its access, at id.plexa.gg/account/data. Removing access stops the app signing you in with your Plexa ID again. Anything it already received is covered by its own terms and privacy policy.

Apps made by other developers are their responsibility, not ours, but we may stop any app from using Plexa ID if it misuses it.

8. Using Plexa ID properly

Plain English

Do not attack, abuse or get around Plexa ID.

You must not:

  • sign in, or try to, as someone else, or use passwords, codes or sessions that are not yours;
  • create Plexa IDs in bulk or with automated tools, or buy, sell or trade Plexa IDs, usernames or linked accounts;
  • try to get around bot checks, rate limits, lockouts, bans or any other protection;
  • probe, scan, scrape or attack Plexa ID, or interfere with how it works; or
  • use Plexa ID to break the law, these terms or the rules.

Found a security problem? Tell us through support before telling anyone else. Do not access other people’s accounts or data while you look, and stop as soon as you find something.

9. Your profile and Plexa Chat

Plain English

What you put on your profile and in Plexa Chat must follow our rules.

Your display name, avatar, banner and bio are public across Plexa. Your profile, Plexa Chat and Plexa Live are part of the Service, so sections 8 (rules of conduct), 9 (your content), 14 (moderation) and 14a (safety, reports, complaints and appeals) of our Terms of Service apply to them. You keep ownership of what you post, and give us the licence described in section 9.

You can report messages, profiles and streams from Plexa Chat and the launcher, and raise a complaint at id.plexa.gg/complaints. We may remove content, or restrict or close a Plexa ID, as section 14 of our Terms of Service and section 14 below explain.

10. Plexa Points and cosmetics

Plain English

Plexa Points stay in each world and have no cash value.

Plexa Points are kept in a separate wallet for each world, not in your Plexa ID. Points, and anything you get with them, such as profile cosmetics in Plexa Chat, are a limited licence to use on Plexa. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or traded outside Plexa. Section 12 of our Terms of Service covers them in full.

11. Plexa+

Plain English

An optional subscription: £19.99 a month, renewing monthly until you cancel, with no minimum term. Cancel any time, in one step, and keep it until the end of the time you have paid for.

What it is. Plexa+ is an optional subscription to extras across the Plexa network. What it includes is listed on id.plexa.gg/plus before you buy. Plexa ID itself, and everything you need to play, stays free. While we test Plexa+, we may limit who can buy it.

Price. Plexa+ costs £19.99 a month. That is the full price, including any VAT, with nothing added at checkout.

How you pay. You pay on Revolut’s own payment page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay) or, once we offer it, PayPal’s. We never see your card details. The payment provider’s terms also apply to the payment. We supply Plexa+ to your Plexa ID and are responsible for it. We do not take payment for Plexa+ in any other way, and nobody from Plexa will ever ask you to pay for it by bank transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency.

Starting and renewing. Plexa+ starts when the payment provider confirms your first payment. It renews automatically every month, on the same date and for the same price, until you cancel. There is no minimum term. We email you when it starts, each time it renews, and if a renewal fails.

Reminders. At least once every 6 months, a few days before a renewal, we email you to say that Plexa+ is still running, when the next payment will be taken, how much it will be and how to cancel.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, in one step, with the Cancel Plexa+ button on id.plexa.gg/plus. You can also ask us to cancel it for you through support or by emailing [email protected]. Renewals stop straight away, you will not be charged again, and Plexa+ stays on until the end of the time you have already paid for. We email you to confirm.

Your 14-day right to cancel. The law usually gives you 14 days from your first payment to cancel and get a refund. Plexa+ is digital content that starts as soon as you pay. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want it to start straight away and that you understand you will then lose your 14-day right to cancel. We cannot sell Plexa+ without that confirmation. We keep a record of it, and the email we send when Plexa+ starts confirms the price, the renewal, how to cancel and that choice. If the law treats your purchase as a service rather than digital content, you can still cancel within 14 days of your first payment, and we will refund you minus a fair amount for the days you have already had. Renewals do not restart the 14 days.

Refunds. Apart from the cases in this section and your other legal rights (section 15), payments are not refundable once Plexa+ has started. If Plexa+ does not work as described, tell us and we will fix it, or refund you where the law says we must. If we close or suspend your Plexa ID for a reason other than a serious or repeated breach of these terms, our Terms of Service or the rules, or if it turns out you are under 18, we will refund the unused part of the time you have paid for.

Failed renewals. If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider tries again for a few days and Plexa+ stays on meanwhile. If it still cannot take the payment, Plexa+ ends and you are not charged.

Price changes. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, with the reason. You can cancel before then and will not pay the new price.

Changes to what is included. We add to and improve Plexa+ over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Plexa+ gives you, we will tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel and get a refund of the unused part of the time you have paid for.

Plexa+ is personal. It belongs to your Plexa ID and cannot be transferred, resold or shared.

Chargebacks and fraud. If you reverse a payment without a valid reason, we may suspend Plexa+ or your Plexa ID until it is resolved. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or a pricing or technical error, and we will refund anything taken for an order we cancel.

12. Emails from us

Plain English

Account emails always go out. News only if you ask for it.

We email you about your Plexa ID and Plexa+: sign-in codes, new-device alerts, password and email changes, payment confirmations, renewal reminders, decisions about your account and changes to these terms. You cannot turn these off while you have a Plexa ID, because they protect you or the law requires them.

We send news and offers only if you choose to get them, and you can stop them at any time at id.plexa.gg/account/data or with the link in any of those emails.

13. Deleting your Plexa ID

Plain English

You can delete your Plexa ID whenever you like. A safety window protects you from mistakes.

You can start deletion at any time at id.plexa.gg/account/data. Apps and sites signed in with your Plexa ID lose access straight away. We ask every world you play on to delete your account there, and each world waits 10 days before it does. Your Plexa ID itself is erased after a 14-day countdown. Signing in to your Plexa ID within the first 10 days cancels all of it. Section 12a of our Privacy Policy explains what is deleted, what is made anonymous, and the few records the law or a ban requires us to keep.

Once a deletion has happened, it cannot be undone: your game accounts, characters, everything they own and your Plexa Points go too. If you have Plexa+, deleting your Plexa ID stops it renewing, and the unused time is not refunded unless the law says it must be.

14. If we restrict or close your Plexa ID

Plain English

We only act for a good reason, we tell you why, and you can appeal.

We may suspend, restrict or close your Plexa ID if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, our Terms of Service or the rules;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, account sharing or selling, ban evasion, or that someone else has taken over your Plexa ID;
  • you are under 18; or
  • the law, a court or a regulator requires it.

A restriction can apply to one game or across Plexa. A ban on your Plexa ID applies to every game and app you sign in to with it.

We will tell you what we have done and why, unless the law or a security risk stops us, or telling you would help someone get around it. Where it is safe to, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we have locked your Plexa ID to protect it, we will help you get it back.

You can appeal a ban or restriction at id.plexa.gg/appeals, as section 14a of our Terms of Service explains, and complain about how we have treated you at id.plexa.gg/complaints.

If we close your Plexa ID for a reason other than a serious or repeated breach, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice where we reasonably can, so you can download your data, and we will refund the unused part of any Plexa+ you have paid for.

15. Your legal rights

Plain English

If you are a consumer, the law protects you, and nothing here takes that away.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Plexa ID and Plexa+, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If something is not right, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can tell you more.

16. Our responsibility for loss or damage

Plain English

What we are and are not responsible for, within what the law allows.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious it will happen, or if we and you both knew it might happen when you accepted these terms.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breaking your legal rights described in section 15.

We are not responsible for:

  • business losses, because Plexa ID is for personal use;
  • loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as attacks on our network or failures of payment providers, email providers or other third-party services;
  • loss caused by someone using your sign-in details because you did not keep them safe, unless we did not take reasonable care; or
  • apps and services run by other people.

If you use Plexa ID for business, section 17 of our Terms of Service applies instead of this section.

17. Your personal data

Plain English

Our Privacy Policy explains what Plexa ID collects and your rights.

Phytoventures Ltd is the controller of the personal data in your Plexa ID. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights under UK data protection law. You can see what Plexa ID holds about you, download a copy and change your choices at id.plexa.gg/account/data. Our data protection contact is [email protected], and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

18. Changes to Plexa ID and to these terms

Plain English

We will tell you about significant changes at least 30 days ahead.

We improve Plexa ID over time and may change, add or remove features. Some changes have to be made quickly to keep Plexa ID secure or to follow the law. Plexa ID may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control, and we post incidents at plexa.gg/status.

We may change these terms to reflect changes to Plexa ID, the law or how we run things. For changes that affect you significantly, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and show what changed at the top of this page. Smaller changes, such as corrections, take effect when we publish them.

If you do not accept a change, you can stop using Plexa ID and delete it. If you have Plexa+, you can cancel before the change takes effect and we will refund the unused part of the time you have paid for.

If we ever decide to stop running Plexa ID, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a chance to download your data, and refund the unused part of any Plexa+.

19. Other important terms

Plain English

The legal housekeeping.

  • Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if Plexa or Phytoventures Ltd is reorganised or sold. We will tell you, and it will not reduce your rights. If you are unhappy about it, you can delete your Plexa ID and we will refund the unused part of any Plexa+. You cannot transfer your Plexa ID, or your rights under these terms, to anyone else.
  • Nobody else has rights under these terms. This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it, under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
  • If part is invalid. If a court decides that part of these terms is unlawful, the rest stays in force.
  • Delay. If we do not insist on something straight away, we can still insist on it later.
  • Whole agreement. These terms, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and the rules are the whole agreement between you and us about Plexa ID and Plexa+.

20. Complaints, law and courts

Plain English

Tell us first. English law applies, and you can go to court where you live in the UK.

If you are unhappy with Plexa ID or Plexa+, tell us at id.plexa.gg/complaints or [email protected]. Someone picks it up within two working days and keeps you updated until it is settled. If we cannot settle it, we will say so in writing and tell you whether we will use an alternative dispute resolution provider. You can also get free advice from Citizens Advice, and complain to the ICO about how we use your data.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. If you use Plexa ID for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
